Overall, the watch is in excellent condition. Dial and hands show original tritium lume.The dial has developed an exceptional and highly attractive tropical patina, we affectionately call “The Americas.” The lighter orange areas bear a remarkable resemblance to the contours of the American continents, creating a distinctive and naturally occurring pattern that makes this particular dial especially characterful and unique. Dial and hands show original tritium lume, that has aged to a custard colour. The watch case appears to be in excellent condition, very thick and still sharp. The bezel shows a nice, homogenous fading. The recently serviced watch is running strong with an amplitude of 270° and +3s/d. The watch comes from a collector close to Rome, Italy. A very nice example of a comeback reference.
