All stainless steel lyre lug case, push-in, brushed steel caseback with seahorse engraving, larger pushers
Omega quartz movement, calibre 1621, 0 jewels
New, handmade Italian calf leather racing strap
Overall, the watch remains in mint condition. The LCD display works well, showing no loss of pixel. The stainless steel case remains unpolished, showing a brushed finish on the sides, and remains of violet protective foil on the caseback. The watch is in good running condition with recently renewed batteries.
This is a highly rare example. 1 of only 20 prototypes produced by Omega with BETA light (2 tritium stripes permanently illuminate the dial in the dark instead of a light bulb like in the civilian example) for NASA in 1978. 12 of them were numbered and sent into NATO. A very rare chance to acquire a very rare watch!
