Overall, the watch is in very good condition. The numerals on the dial show very thick luminous mass – common for hanhart pilot watches and definitely correct. Both dial and hands show original radium. The watch case is unpolished with very sharp edges. The chronograph pushers and bezel have lost part of the rhodium plating, giving the rare watch even more character in our eyes. Bezel and the lower pusher show rests of nail polish – a very common phenomenon among Hanhart chronographs. Pilots wifes used to paint nail polish on pusher or bezel or both to make distinguishing easier in combat. A nice historical note. The recently serviced watch is in excellent running condition, keeping accurate time.
